The Heaven we call the grill.

Wow! I had the best meal last night. Lisa threw some chicken in the marinaide and when I got home I fired up the tool of the gods and cooked it to perfection. This is an art and when mastered it will make the most picky eater a happy person. As you can see I had it with mashed potatoes, brocholli, and rolls with Lisa's homemade Peach jam! It is no wonder I have to workout every morning with a meal like this.

Mert has a smoker and is getting antsy to get it out of the shed and get something smoking. Two Sundays ago he did just that - and it snowed on him! Didn't matter. The chicken was really good anyway. Happy grilling.

I am the grill-master at our house. Here are some of my favorite things (grilled things): Marinate vegetables (zuccini, mushrooms, red peppers, red onion, etc.) in Grill Mates Zesty Herb marinade and put on kebob skewers. It makes them so juicy and delicious. Pineapple is awesome on the grill. One recipe I had said to dip it in melted butter and honey before putting it on the grill, but that all melted off and didn't offer much in flavoring, so I grill it au natural. I've also done peach halves, and they were excellent over vanilla ice cream.

We do salmon marinated in Mr. Yoshida's teriyaki sauce or in a foil pouch with butter, tarragon, and lemon slices.

I need to get my tank filled so I can grill again. Yummm!
